Land’s End – Golden Gate NRA

Another sunny weekend!!! I guess it makes up for the rain the whole week leading up to it. Charlie and I were anxious to get outside and were happy when our cousin invited us on a hike Saturday morning!

Land’s End is located at the edge of San Francisco and was originally inhabited by the Yelamu Ohlone tribe. During the 1880s, millionaire Adolph Sutro purchased the property and turned it into a popular seaside destination that included public gardens, baths, and the famous Cliff House restaurant. He managed a private railroad company to help transport people to and from Land’s End for an affordable fair of 5 cents!
